Australian Bowen Therapy:

Bowen Therapy is a gentle non-invasive technique known for enhancing pain relief and balancing the autonomic nervous system.
This therapy is popular in Europe and Australia where it originated.

Craniosacral Therapy Intensives:
This is a series of classes including Myofascial Release, Visceral Manipulation, and Psychomotor Therapy.  Dr. Heather Koeppel D.C., a craniopath and former instructor for the Upledger Institute, offers twenty years of experience as a specialist in this field.  Students are guaranteed the opportunity to master this technique.

Reflexology:

Reflexology is based on the concept that there are reflex areas in the feet and hands that correspond to all parts of the body.  Applying pressure to these reflexes relieves stress and tension, improves nerve and blood supply, and helps the body to normalize.  Using pressure points on the feet to stimulate healing is not new and dates back to more than 5,000 years ago in China, Japan, and Egypt.  Reflexology is a natural way to promote health and well-being.
You will learn how to give a complete Basic Foot Reflexology treatment.  Notebooks will be provided with the information covered in the class as well as additional information to expand on what you have learned.

Reiki:
Reiki is the Japanese word for Universal Life Force Energy.  It is an ancient laying-on of hands healing technique that was rediscovered in the late 1800's by Dr. Makao Usui of Japan.  The Usui Method of Natural Healing has been passed down by Reiki Masters since that time and is today practiced worldwide.

The First Degree Reiki class includes guided meditation, spiritual attunements, history of Reiki, and learning basic hand positions for treatment.

 About the instructor:
Jan Walker graduated from the Atlanta School of Massage in 1992 and had a successful massage practice in Huntsville, Alabama for 16 years.  She developed a Basic Foot Reflexology course which integrates three basic methods of reflexology.  She is a Reiki Master Teacher and has been teaching Reiki since 1993.
